Garri production and packaging machine in garri processing line
The whole garri processing line includes garri production and packaging. And for garri production, there are different technological processes. For example, the traditional way is to use manual labor. The cassava will be peeled by hand and crush cassava into a kind of mush, and then cassava mush will be dewatered by traditional methods. And then garri will fried by pot. With fire. That way is only applied in small scale garri production.
The second way for garri production and packaging is to process garri by garri processing machinery. The whole garri production includes cassava cleaning and washing, cassava peeling machine, cassava crushing, cassava fermentation, cassava mush dewatering, cassava mush cake milling, and garri frying and packaging. The following part will explain the garri production and packaging.
Cassava will be cleaned and washed by dry sieve and paddle washing machine, then cassava will be peeled by peeling machine, and next step is that cassava will be crushed by garter. In the process of garri production and packaging. And cassava mush will be put into someplace in order to fermentation. Usually it will take several days to ferment it. And after fermentation, garri will be dehydrated by hydraulic press. Then the cassava mush cake will be milled by grater again. Then fryer will be used to fry garri. Garri can be dived into two kinds, one is white garri, the other is yellow garri which is added with palm oil. After drying , garri will be sieved by vibration sieve.
The last but not least step is to pack garri packing machine. Packing machine can be classified into two kinds of machines which are automatic machine and manual packing machine. In short, this is whole process of garri production and packaging.
The third method is similar to the second method. And the third one is especially applied to large scale garri production and packaging. The front part from washing to crushing is same. But after crushing, cassava mush can be fermented in a pool which can be divided in different parts. But on condition that the temperature is enough for garri fermentation. After that, cassava mush will be pumped into plate& frame filter press so as to dewater cassava mush. The advantage of the machine is that it can make garri contain much less water than that buy hydraulic press. Then the following step is also same. This is different working process of garri production and packaging.
Though this process is in theoretical stage, it can be achieved in some day. This process is more automatic. If the process is put into practice, the plant will be involved in fewer persons, save the labour, improve the production speed and the quality of finished garri
The three kinds of methods for garri production and packaging are all can be applied in real factories. But the second one will be mostly used. And the all machines which are mentioned above are produced by Doing company in China.
